FAQs - Ear Candles
Q: Where are you candles made?
A: Our candles are hand made in the USA .
Q: Do ear candles really work?
A: Responses from several users indicate ear candles are effective. There are frequent reports of relief from ear wax build up, ear pain, ear problems, hearing problems, ringing in the ears, sinus problems, headaches, even infection.
Q: Can all of that wax remaining in the unused portion of the ear candle really be from my ear?
A: No. Some of the wax residue is from the ear candle. The most important thing to notice after ear candling is how good your ears feel!
Q: How often can ear candles be used?
A: This has to be an individual decision. It takes the ears about 24 hours to replace their protective coating of wax if it has been removed. Obviously, using ear candles every day would not be advisable. Common sense is the determining factor. Some people believe that more wax comes out with the second candle than with the first, because the wax has had time to warm up.
Q: Is there a medical reason that ear candles should not be used?
A: They should not be used if the ear drum is perforated or if there are tubes in the ear.
Q: Do ear cones always work?
A: If ear wax is VERY impacted and has been untreated for a long time, ear candles may not immediately give desired results. Again, use common sense and ear candling will be a great experience!
Q: I have tried using ear candles but they don't seem to work, since I am finding no wax in the candle after I cut it open. Am I doing something wrong?
A: You may be doing one of two things. First, you might not have an air-tight connection. There must be NO smoke coming out the bottom. Two, you might have the ear candle jammed up tight against an ear wall - move it SLIGHTLY to another position - eventually you should be able to hear things happening inside your ear |
